Professor Bird 2

We have a few nests in our garden. One of them is on their second clutch. This little bird came dropping out of the ivy, spent a moment posing for me on the chair and table, and they flew right back (presumably) to the parent bird which had been chirping incessantly all along. The little bird offered no comment.

Look at its little tufts of down. It looks like a grumpy professor.

I stuck these into double pictures so as not to take up too much space with my crappy shots.

It sat surprisingly still for these photos. Either it's a natural model or it was terrified of the weird bigjobs with their funny machine. Probably the latter.
